Roseann St. Aubin has had distinguished careers in television journalism, city government and school public relations, quickly rising to administrative roles in which she managed programs, handled crisis communication, and led diverse staff with a balance of respect, firmness and humor.
St. Aubin’s career milestones include almost 20 years at WITI-TV in Milwaukee, where she evolved from reporter to morning show host to nighttime newsroom manager and executive producer of special projects. She went on to work as the business liaison for the mayor of the city of Milwaukee (John Norquist) and later served as communications director for the largest public school district in the state of Wisconsin, Milwaukee Public Schools.
In her retirement, St. Aubin continues to provide support as a writer and as a media trainer, a skill that landed her an invitation to the Himalayan country of Bhutan in 2016, where she developed the curriculum for, and presented, week-long workshops for Bhutanese journalists.
St. Aubin is an inductee in the Milwaukee Press Club Hall of Fame, an organization for which she once served as president. She currently lives in Port Washington, Wisconsin, where she stays active as a volunteer for a number of service organizations.
